My crit partner, Megan DiMaria tagged me for this game. I'm reading Julie Lessman's A Passion Most Pure. I'll be posting a review of it soon. I turned to Page 123, found the fifth sentence and posted the next three sentences: "It's simply a heart thing, Briana. All you have to do is acknowledge you're a sinner and that Jesus is your Savior. Then simply ask him to come into your heart and be Lord of your life."
Wow! What a message, right in the middle of Julie's passionate portrayal of a boisterous Irish family.

Hey, Marion, this just gave me chills!!! I mean, I remember putting that in there, of course, but to have it plucked from the book and presented by itself in three lines -- Wow!!! :)
Thank you for posting this! Yeah, this book has taken some flak for its supposed "sensuality," but what I want everyone to know is that it is also WAY more spiritual than a lot of Inspies out there. Because my two passions in life are God and romance (in that order), I have tried very hard to intertwine the two throughout this story in order to drive the message home that TRUE passion (the kind that really satisfies) ALWAYS has God in the center.
Again, thanks for posting this and I can't wait for your review.
Hugs,
Julie
